MY WORLD

My World©

I travel through

What feels like time

And space between

Atoms, Adams

Hominids and Floras

To find only an illusion

Of what is

Designed by another

To be known as

Whatever I Choose

The Life I Encounter

Is My World

My Space

My Time

Relative to

My Experience

Of Which I Define

Engage

Reflect Upon

and Re-Define

as My Choices

become Decisions

that Yield Outcomes

More and more to My Liking

Author of My Life

I Travel the World

And Witness My Story

Unfold More Wondrously

than plot-predicted

Universally Orchestrated

Harmoniously in Tune with

Self-directed Thought

Realized through Inspired Action

A Joyful down steam

Journey of Repetitive Ecstasy

Past time

Past space

In line with Travels of Choice –

My World

LIFE PAST STRUGGLE

LIFE PAST STRUGGLE©

I bought the bill of goods

That life would be a struggle

A war against evil

One plagued with societal ‘shoulds”

A long list of ‘don’ts’

Promises of ‘won’ts’

Assumptions of what is or

is not appropriate

I tried so hard to fit

Into my parent’s good graces

Family and educational expectations

Acceptable career choices

Those that pay the bills

Void of passion or creative skills

No matter, as long as I pleased

The powers that be

Unknowingly, I’d become

A good worker-bee

That was a life-less-lived

An unremarkable reality

disconnected from my own source

with no one to blame

but me

Now is a new day

A life without struggle

I am still alive

But now among the living

I quit efforting for anything

I embrace new thought

One of certainty over doubt

I am free to live inspired

Action is my creed

Passion for Profits

Fun for Fulfillment

Focus for Financial Abundance

All in the direction of

Whatever I desire

Life, Past Struggle

is Self-Directed

Peaceful, Productive and

Phenomenal

BEING ME

Unconscious is against the nature of me

Awake is in-line with life sublime

I Am links to my now

All that matters,

that with which my spirit resounds

In a Magical Universe

I am the Genie

In control of all I can -

Me in form

Mistress of the land

Ruler of paradise

Consciously Creating

Me

Myself

I

Connected to all

But, Just Being

Me

Think We Are Different

You thought that you were so different

Until you met someone much like yourself

Maybe in a dream

Another lifetime

A nightmare

Or a drunken despair

He had no legs

She was missing feet

The little boy was blind

And the girl, due to Alzheimer’s

had lost the memories in her mind

From war, everyone lost someone they knew

From famine, the body count seemed infinite

Global Pandemics made for disparaging averages,

‘Lucky to be alive,’ even in sadness, united

Making death the unifying factor,

   among seemingly opposites

Still think we are different,

Universal Laws, laugh at human ignorance

The indifference of intolerance

Coupled with natural disasters

Eventually yields a oneness

And unveils the pettiness of unnatural dualities

Hell-on-Earth has a way of debunking

the concept of Big-I’s and Little-You’s

Sheds light on the darkness of

  racism, sexism, and nationalism,

Luminates deep seated hatreds

  fueled by clannish cultures,

  unjust laws, one-sided traditions and

evil people who hide behind the good of religious principles

Darkness only prevails in the absence of light

Think you are so different

Does the Earth have to swallow itself up

in order to change the hearts and minds of its inhabitants

Maybe.

And maybe given a few more tragedies

  You will think again.

New Thought:

  One Planet

  One People

  One Peace

Connected - All Lives Matter!

My Reality

My Reality
starts as a mentality
a mindset
Over-set
Under-stood
Possibly confused with
I give a ...
What others assume,
Consider as amused
Ponder or wonder
as perceived a blunder
Truth is
I'm on track
Virtual and reality in tact
Handling mine
Like the boss
That I am
Damn.
Guess I am, that I am
To My Story
Creator & Witness
and about it
What others perceive
None of my business
Now I see with clarity
My Reality.

Everyday I Choose - A Pledge

The Every Day I Choose... Pledge.

Every day I choose to...

Be a better me
Have more fun
Enjoy at least one thing I love to do
Tell someone, “I love you,” and mean it
Smile at a stranger because it feels right to do so
Accept that in addition to being flesh and blood,
I am life, light and vibration
Act only on Inspiration
Forgive
Appreciate the life I have already created
Focus on the life I desire to live
Enjoy My Journey!

Awakened From My Coma

This morning was the best in my life.
Yes, I’ve lived in  seconds, hours,
years, decades, and scores
even ‘life-times in appreciation before.
But happier now, knowing that
so much more is in store.

This morning as I awakened
before jumping as usual from bed,
I stopped.  “How do I live,
look and feel better?” I questioned silently
as an open invitation
to the Universe for response.

After a few breaths in, then out,
with eyes closed in acceptance
of  whatever was to come,
my eyes popped opened
like the lid from a jam jar previously stuck.
So sweet was the answer that came.
And clearly, more than mere luck.

“Start from inside,” is what I heard.
In three words, volumes exploded
that expanded my third.
Even now like scrolls in consciousness
I excitedly anticipate
the unveiling of what began
from an innocuous state.
Awake from my ‘coma’
Obviously a misnomer
Light has shined thru darkness.

Ask and it is given,
Desire and you have already received.
Know and matter
manifests in your favor.
All that is, has forever been.
All that will be starts from within.

Make Me Happy…?

What a cruel joke --
‘Cause, whoever said,
”One was responsible
For another’s joy,
dreams, wishes and hopes,”
mistakenly mis-spoke.

I am responsible
for how I feel.
You are responsible
for how you feel.
This is truth,
for real.

Success,
Together as a couple
depends on simple,
Selfish Intent

Yes, I felt populations flinch.
But truths, newly published
are rarely popularly cast
though eventually accepted
and lived in mass

I am responsible
for how I feel.
You are responsible
for how you feel.
A spiritual maturity
gaining appeal.

Imagine the pressure,
stress, virtual duress
placed on others
to make you, me, we
Happy…

So, unfair and impossible
a task, one that
perpetuates relationships
ranking equal to,
working Monday mornings;
the ‘joy’ of a ‘beloved’ 9-5;
and living only
for the weekend,
which comes too soon
and departs even faster
Relationship—
destined disaster…

A better, more co-creative,
initiation might be
“Hey, let’s get together,
and see…”

I’ll continue to be
Responsible for how I feel.
You’ll stay responsible
for how you feel.
Just to keep it real --

We’ll rendezvous aligned,
in-tune first with our
individual selves
then join, intertwined
in the bliss of each other.

How does it get
Any better than this?

In this conscious state
we spiritually relate
with a continuously
clean slate;

Live in the moment
above explanation
and debate

I am responsible for
how I feel,
You responsible for
how you feel,

Then together,
Caring, Sharing, and
in our individual ways,
live combined joys,
contrasts, adjustments
and successes
that make for
a lasting union
of freedom.

I am responsible
for how I feel.
You are responsible
for how you feel.

Though seemingly surreal --
Here, in print, is a simple,
Universal Key
for Happy!

WINNER

Winner.
Yeah, people confuse the meaning
You see, ‘winner’ is about being
the best me that I can  be
that, the world can easily see
When I define the reality of me
I am a Winner!

Winner.
Ain’t about a competition
‘cause regardless of the repetition
Nobody can beat me, being me
I am unique
Like the snowflake
Voice or fingerprint

Steady as I go
With clarity, I know
I am the master of my destiny
The author of my fate
Responsible for how I feel

Just keepin’ it real
Without yeast or filler, I know
I am a Winner!

How Did You Awake Today? - A Poem About Gratitude

GRATITUDE

I awake amid the sounds of crickets
Anticipated,
but unexpected in melodic rhythm
Thank you for the wake-up call.

My eyes open
And eyelids autonomously blink
Check.
My phalanges wiggle, and
Knees and neck bend with ease,
Check.
My diaphragm bounces
Evidence that my life on Earth
continues for another day
Check!
Thank you for more time to play.

Out of my window
Darkness
Split with horizontal lines,
abstract shapes
and brilliant colors that divide
reveal what we call ‘sunrise’
Thank you for the Creative inspiration.

In the span of minutes
I’m hygiene ready
Showered, brushed teeth,
Combed hair
And gone down stairs for eats
So, there’s a roof overhead
Water running
Electricity streaming
Dresser drawers with
underwear and socks
A closet with clothes and shoes
Linen in cabinets
Plates and silverware in drawers
A stove ready to be used
And a fridge with food
Thank you for the “little things.”

Each day I awake,
I can rush through in attitude
mindless of self-generated
drama and feuds.
Conscious, I can appreciate,
draw more good
and enjoy the life I create.

Choice is mine.
And, Gratitude is good
when understood.
