BEING ME

Unconscious is against the nature of me

Awake is in-line with life sublime

I Am links to my now

All that matters,

that with which my spirit resounds

In a Magical Universe

I am the Genie

In control of all I can -

Me in form

Mistress of the land

Ruler of paradise

Consciously Creating

Me

Myself

I

Connected to all

But, Just Being

Me

Think We Are Different

You thought that you were so different

Until you met someone much like yourself

Maybe in a dream

Another lifetime

A nightmare

Or a drunken despair

He had no legs

She was missing feet

The little boy was blind

And the girl, due to Alzheimer’s

had lost the memories in her mind

From war, everyone lost someone they knew

From famine, the body count seemed infinite

Global Pandemics made for disparaging averages,

‘Lucky to be alive,’ even in sadness, united

Making death the unifying factor,

   among seemingly opposites

Still think we are different,

Universal Laws, laugh at human ignorance

The indifference of intolerance

Coupled with natural disasters

Eventually yields a oneness

And unveils the pettiness of unnatural dualities

Hell-on-Earth has a way of debunking

the concept of Big-I’s and Little-You’s

Sheds light on the darkness of

  racism, sexism, and nationalism,

Luminates deep seated hatreds

  fueled by clannish cultures,

  unjust laws, one-sided traditions and

evil people who hide behind the good of religious principles

Darkness only prevails in the absence of light

Think you are so different

Does the Earth have to swallow itself up

in order to change the hearts and minds of its inhabitants

Maybe.

And maybe given a few more tragedies

  You will think again.

New Thought:

  One Planet

  One People

  One Peace

Connected - All Lives Matter!

“Truest Self’s Call”

Woman develops
by the desires of the heart
Man by the same
Humanity by the tracks
in behavior laid

The train ride of choice
Follows the result of each one’s
Level of Truth
Passengers, lookers-on, naysayers and
Pallet purveyors
All have opinions

But, the essence of Truth
Supersedes anyone’s version of it
As It remains undisturbed
Rooted in universal union of all that is,
Was, or ever will to be

Goodness, Greatness and God-ness awaits
Woman and man who choose to see
To live, to adhere to
The Truest self’s call, consciously.

True Beauty Poem

True Beauty

There seems some confusion
Some mistaken or erroneous conclusions
Surrounding appearance:
Complexion, shape, size --
That somehow clone-ism is a high
A level to which to be attained
That one’s differences, on mankind,
Are somehow a stain;
A blemish to be remodeled, removed, compromised
To satisfy a hidden-hand status quo
To be tolerated, when on the human chain
You are considered low
But, once on the rise, you’re scrutinized
By ability, talent, performance --?  No!
By intellect,  consciousness, service --?  No!
By compassion, kindness, honesty --?  No!
Then something is sincerely wrong
That requires righting
A clarity on the True Beauty of rarity
The True Beauty of uniqueness
The True Beauty of Truth
The True Beauty of Self-Love,
Awareness, Fulfillment and Presence.
An understanding that the Original You
Is True Beauty in Human Form
100 Times superior
To what others may attempt to impose.
As you Accept and Own your Original You
Complexion, Shape, Size
And all the Awesomeness entailed
You Shine as the brightest of Stars
Amid the darkest of skies
And in the dismiss of frivolous compromise
Through infinity of time
Generations will recall
Your True Beauty.
