Damn The Cure
If
there’s a cure
For
unconditional love,
Keep
it.
Its
taken time,
But
past the
Disappointment
Betrayal
and outright lies
I’m
still open and poised to try
Clearly
a party
To
failures of old
I’ve
lived, learned
And
now expect pure gold
Only
the best for me
Because
finally, I see
The
best way to be.
A
spiritual partnership
void
of demands.
Rather,
wrapped in
mutual
commitment
sealed
with free choice,
a
unified voice
No
longer a “me” or “you”
but
an “us.”
Yeah,
Cupids pierced me
thanks
to you.
Through
and through
Before
love was like
the
winds that blew
I’ll
say it unashamed --
I’m
whipped,
Like
under a spell,
Willingly
submitted to us
As
one not two
I’ve
retired outdated,
egoic
rules.
So,
if lovin’ you is wrong,
I
don’t want to be _______.
To
unconditional love,
I
lack the will for flight.
You’re
in my heart
And
third eye’s sight
In
the midst of peace,
A
fresh start
Of
omnibus light.
Happy
is an understatement
Fulfilled
more accurate and pure
To
unconditional love
I’m
addicted for sure.
So,
damn the cure.
